The Australian arm of Hantec Markets is sponsoring a series of concerts that will be performed by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra this year.
The ‘Hantec Great Classics Series’ will see the orchestra perform six different concerts over the next few months.
The first will be held this coming weekend and will feature violinist James Ehnes, who will perform Brahms’ Violin Concerto alongside the orchestra.
Other concerts are scheduled to be held in May and June, with leading classical musicians set to perform at each one.
Hantec’s sponsorship of the concerts is part of its 35th anniversary celebrations.
The wider Hantec Group, which operates the different Hantec Markets brands, was set up in 1990 and has since expanded into a large number of different fields.
Aside from its different brokerage businesses, the company operates IT firms, a water supply company, a wine trading firm, and several other brands that are active across different industries.
“Hantec, as a globally recognized financial services brand, has long been a dedicated supporter of cultural and artistic development,” the company said in a statement.
“The company firmly believes that music is not only the pinnacle of artistic expression but also a powerful bridge for cultural exchange. Through this partnership, Hantec Markets Australia aims to bring world-class musical performances to a wider audience, enrich Australia’s cultural scene, and inspire the younger generation to develop a passion for classical music.”
