Brokerage executive Andreas Andreou announced on Tuesday that he has joined INGOT Brokers as Chief Sales Officer.

Andreou will work from the brokerage group’s office in Dubai. INGOT Brokers is a MENA-focused firm, which is based in Jordan.

Andreou was most recently at BDSwiss, where he was Chief Revenue Officer. He is one of several senior executives from the company that left the firm in the last six months after it had serious financial problems.

Prior to joining BDSwiss, Andreou worked at rival broker HF Markets for close to a decade, initially in the firm’s Cyprus headquarters and then in the company’s Dubai office.

Interestingly, Andreou announced in October of last year that he was setting up a prop firm called ThePropTrade. The website for that company is still live and it’s unclear if Andreou is still running it or not.
